briefing season opener
There's always a pilot briefing at 7pm taking place at the Aéro-Sport premisses on Tuesday prior to a fly out
Pilots are thus expected this evening at 7pm for the season opener to the Lake Constance next weekend.

Season opening 2016: lake Constance
We're only a couple of days away from the season opening 2016 of Aéro Sport with a fly out to Southern Germany, to the "Bodensee" region. Here are the details.
On Friday April 29th, a first bunch of pilots are flying from Luxembourg to Donaueschingen (EDTD), located in the "Black forest".
Anyone with an interest in the Danube will love the residential city of Donaueschingen, the birthplace of the river Danube. The town is located in the Southern Black Forest Nature Park. Donaueschingen is famous around the world due to attractions like the annual Donaueschinger Musiktage (festival of new music) and the CHI International Equestrian Tournament.
On Saturday morning, we're joined by a second group of private pilots coming from Luxembourg as we fly to Konstanz or Friedrichshafen at the Bodensee. Pilots need to ensure to be there in the morning as at 11am, we leave for a boat trip on lake Constance to The almost-tropical island of Mainau features a magnificent garden at its center and an ancient castle, which was the former residence of the Knights of the Teutonic Order !
In parallel, one can attend the FAI Air navigation racing at the Donaueschingen airfield of which the purpose is twofold:

- Emphasizing the ability to follow a precise track whilst adhering closely to a time schedule, a given corridor and a groundspeed.
- Emphasizing the ability to land an aircraft in short and narrow places with the simulation of trees or other obstacles on the approach, thereby fully demonstrating a pilot's ability to handle an aircraft both accurately and safely.
During the whole trip, our home basis will be the beautiful Concorde hotel , located on the airfield of Donaueschingen.
